The challenge

The existing facility was at capacityNo room for the next three years of growth, and no redundancy on the power path.
It had to be evidenced, not just builtThe bank is inspected. Test certificates, as-builts, access logs and maintenance records had to exist from day one rather than be assembled when asked for.
Migration could not interrupt serviceChange windows were measured in minutes and agreed in advance, with a rollback plan for each.

What we delivered

Data Center SolutionsWhite space design, containment, racks, structured cabling and commissioning against a stated availability target
IT Power SolutionsN+1 UPS with tested autonomy, generator interface and ATS, distribution to rack level

Worked to TIA-942, TIA-568, IEC 62040.

The numbers

99.98%measured availability since handover
White space delivered310 m²
Racks installed48
Design IT load420 kW
Power density per rack8.75 kW
UPS capacity installed2 × 300 kVA, N+1
Autonomy at full load14 minutes, load tested
Cooling480 kW, N+1
Design freeze to handover154 days
Measured availability since handover99.98% over 19 months

The outcome

The bank moved production onto the new facility across four change windows with no unplanned interruption, and cleared its next infrastructure audit without a finding against the data centre.

Documentation handed over

  • Commissioning and load test records
  • Single line diagrams
