The challenge

The specification was the contractTwo clauses were technically unachievable as drafted. We raised both in writing before pricing rather than as a variation halfway through.

Acceptance ran through three partiesConsultant, authority engineering and a separate security directorate, each with their own witness testing requirements.

The buildings will be held for decadesWhoever maintains this campus in 2044 will be working from the pack we hand over, not from anyone who built it.
